Breast Surgery Fellowship

The Department of Surgery in conjunction with the Beaumont Breast Care Center offers a one-year fellowship in the management of patients with benign and malignant diseases of the breast. The program is one of twenty-seven breast fellowships in the country.

The multidisciplinary breast surgery fellowship provides both surgical and office experiences with graduated, supervised clinical responsibilities. Formal rotations in medical oncology, radiation oncology, breast imaging, pathology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, genetic evaluation and genetic counseling and screening round out the core curriculum.
