Beaumont's Department of Clinical Pathology offers a one-year ACGME-accredited fellowship in Hematopathology, which emphasizes the morphologic diagnosis of benign and malignant hematologic conditions, involving blood, bone marrow, tissue and body fluids as well as laboratory and management aspects of hematology and coagulation.

In addition, there is a strong emphasis on the integration of all aspects of hematopathology including, phenotyping, molecular studies and cytogenetics in the diagnosis of hematologic malignancies. The program is ACGME-accredited for two positions each academic year.
