Our residents have been highly successful whether pursuing a fellowship or embarking on a career as a hospitalist or outpatient general internist. The 2011-2012 academic year brought about many changes to our program with the institution of the new ACGME duty hour rules. We took this opportunity to redesign our program utilizing innovative ideas, many originating from residents. We remain committed to improving our residency curriculum in ways that improve the experience of our residents while improving patient safety and outcomes.
